Second victory of Turkmen hockey players in Japan

At the 8th Asian Winter Games in Sapporo Turkmen hockey players, for the first time participating in such large complex competitions, gained second victory in succession. Today trainees of Bayram Allayarov have defeated the team of Macao with the lopsided score 16:0, having strengthened their leadership in the “B” group. Four goals have been shot by the youngest player and best scorer in the Turkmen national team, attacker of the capital’s Club “Oguzhan”, 18-year-old Baymyrat Baymyratov. Three goals have been scored by Ezizmuhammed Akmuhammedov and skipper Ahmed Kurbanov have scored two points. Special mention should be made of our goaltenders Kerimli Charyev and Rahman Myradov. Now, our compatriots have only one victory to win to get into the final, which they can gain in the game with the national team of Indonesia. This game will take place on February 24.
