Turkmen masters of kickboxing in the tournament in Helsinki (Finland) won 11 medals, seven of which are gold, one - silver and three - bronze. Four gold medals won by students of the National Institute of Sports and Tourism - Charygylych Tagangylyjov (under 60 kg), Muhammet Altybaev (under 63, 5 kg), Shohrat Hallyev (under 67 kg) and Shohrat Yagmyrov (under 75 kg). Other two ""gold"" medals were secured by Gochmyrat Jumaniyazov (under 71 kg) and Azamat Jumakulyev (under 81 kg). The first place was also won by the trainer of the sports school of Turkmenbashi city (Balkan velayat) Azata Annaeva (under 91 kg). To the second step of the pedestal the representative of the Federation of Kickboxing Shohrat Pirimanov (under 86 kg) rose. Bronze medals won by: the trainer of the sports school of Turkmenabat (Lebap velayat) Nariman Aydogdyev (under 60 kg), student of the high school of sports and tourism Merdan Mamedov (under 67 kg) and Seyitmuhammet Charyev (under 75 kg). Honoured coach of Turkmenistan and chief trainer of the national team Alexander Snagovsky prepared kickboxers. His trainees should now prepare for the international tournament to be held in April in the capital Olympic village. Competitions will test sports fields which will host the 5th Asian indoor and martial arts games in September and will define the definitive structure of the Turkmen team of kick boxers.
