Decree of the President of Turkmenistan On the discharge into the reserve from the Armed Forces, other troops and military bodies of Turkmenistan of military personnel serving by conscription, and the next conscription of citizens of Turkmenistan for military service

In accordance with the Constitution of Turkmenistan and the Law of Turkmenistan «On Military Duty and Military Service», I decree:

1. To discharge into the reserve in April-June 2025 from the Armed Forces, other troops and military bodies of Turkmenistan military personnel serving by conscription, who have served the terms established in the Law of Turkmenistan «On Military Duty and Military Service».

2. To call up for military service in April-June 2025 those male citizens of Turkmenistan who do not have the right to exemption from conscription or the right to a deferment from conscription, who have reached the age of 18 by the day of conscription, and who have lost the right to a deferment from conscription for military service up to the age of 27.

3. This Decree shall enter into force from the moment of its publication.

Pursuant to Decree of the President of Turkmenistan №529 of 14th of March, 2025 «On the dismissal from the Armed Forces, other troops and military bodies of Turkmenistan of military personnel serving by conscription, and the next conscription of citizens of Turkmenistan for military service», the President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed an Order according to which the Minister of Defense of Turkmenistan, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan, the Minister of National Security of Turkmenistan, the Chief of the State Border Service of Turkmenistan, the Chief of the Security Service of the President of Turkmenistan, the Chairman of the State Migration Service of Turkmenistan are instructed to discharge military personnel who have served the terms established in the Law of Turkmenistan «On Military Duty and Military Service», in a ceremonial atmosphere in accordance with the dismissal plans, to reward excellent students of combat and social and humanitarian training.
