On the eve of the Asian Games-2017, the capital's Olympic Village is planning to hold three more test events

In 2017, on the eve of the Vth Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games, sports arenas of the capital’s Olympic Village are planning to have a number of international test competitions. Thus, on April 16-30 they will host three sports events - the Asian Championships in weightlifting and kickboxing, as well as international and regional swimming competitions. In 2016 the Olympic village has hosted Asian Championships in sambo, jiu-jitsu, the Turkmen National goresh and belt wrestling, as well as international competitions in tennis, athletics and basketball. Test competitions have been held in accordance with the requirements of the Olympic Council of Asia, to allow checking all the features of facilities and systems to ensure the sports city’s high level of preparation for V Asian Games.
