Speaking at the meeting of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that this year, based on the country's main financial document, significant funds have been allocated for the development of education, healthcare, and culture systems, as well as the construction of production and social infrastructure facilities.
It was noted that the total amount of investments allocated for the construction of production facilities was 67.8%, and for social facilities, it was 32.2%. Thus, the targeted use and development of the expenditure part of the state budget were ensured. Meanwhile, its revenue part increased due to economic reforms, achieving innovative development, and increasing the private sector's share.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that the reforms carried out to improve the quality of banking services and maintain the national currency's exchange rate ensured monetary circulation stability and economic growth. He announced that starting January 1 of the new year, salaries for employees funded by the budget, self-supporting enterprises, public associations, pensions, state benefits, and scholarships for students and trainees will be increased by 10%.
