The State Program for the Comprehensive Development of Biotechnology in Turkmenistan for 2024-2028 has been approved

In order to enhance the role of science in the context of reforming sectors of the national economy, including accelerating the development of innovative technologies for the production of environmentally friendly energy-saving goods, oriented towards import substitution and export, based on biology and biotechnology, as well as scientific substantiation of the formation of a powerful bio-industry in the country using biotechnology in era of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state, the President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution, approving the State Program for the Comprehensive Development of Biotechnology in Turkmenistan for 2024–2028 and the Action Plan for its implementation.

The document instructs the Academy of Sciences, relevant ministries and departments to ensure the implementation of the specified State Program.
