In order to successfully solve the tasks outlined in the Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the socio-economic development of the country in 2022–2028, the socio-economic development of the regions, further improving the standard of living of the people, as well as the implementation of the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan №473 dated to the 7th of March, 2023 «On the implementation the second stage of construction of the city of Arkadag» the President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution, allowing the State Committee for the Construction of the City of Arkadag under the President of Turkmenistan to enter into contracts with local construction enterprises for the design and construction of objects and structures in the city of Arkadag with the improvement of adjacent territories.
The document stipulates that construction work should begin in October 2023 and facilities and structures will be handed over in full readiness for operation in September 2026.
