Today, in the «Avaza» National Tourist Zone, a meeting was held between the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, who arrived in our country on a working visit to participate in the summit of Turkmenistan, the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Uzbekistan.

During the one-on-one meeting and in an expanded format with the participation of delegations of both countries, it was noted that Turkmen-Azerbaijani relations are acquiring a systemic and regular character, reaching the level of sustainable mutually beneficial partnership.

As part of the discussion of issues of multifaceted Turkmen-Azerbaijani cooperation, it was emphasised that both countries are committed to the further dynamic development of interstate dialogue based on centuries-old principles of good neighbourliness and mutually beneficial partnership.
