Today, a telephone conversation took place between the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.

The Russian leader cordially congratulated the head of Turkmenistan on his birthday, wishing him good health, prosperity and further success in large-scale government activities. As noted, the Russian Federation highly appreciates the efforts of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov aimed at strengthening the traditionally constructive interstate dialogue.

Expressing sincere gratitude to President Vladimir Putin for warm congratulations and good wishes, as well as for the friendly attitude towards our country and the attention paid to the development of bilateral cooperation, the head of state noted with satisfaction that today the partnership between Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation, based on long-standing ties of friendship, trust and mutual understanding are at a high level and are developing across the widest spectrum.
