President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, who is on a working visit to New York, takes part in the plenary meeting of the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly.

The head of state will speak at the session of the UN General Assembly and voice Turkmenistan’s position on pressing issues of our time related to issues of strengthening peace, security and development, as well as solving environmental issues.

Taking an active part in developing balanced decisions on current issues and problems on the global agenda, our independent neutral country makes a significant contribution to the overall efforts to strengthen security and stability and achieve the goals of the Sustainable Development Program until 2030 on a regional and international scale. Our country, integrating into the global political, economic and legal space, is realizing in practice its rich creative potential for the benefit of all humanity.
