The quarterly scientific and practical journal “Foreign Policy and Diplomacy of Turkmenistan”, published by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, provides an overview of the most important events in the country's foreign policy in July-September of this year.
The issue opens with a speech by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov at the Conference of Ministers of Transport of Landlocked Developing Countries held on the initiative of Turkmenistan under the auspices of the United Nations on August 15th, 2022.
The materials published on the pages of the magazine clearly indicate that, advocating broad constructive cooperation in the regional and global dimensions, Turkmenistan, implementing a foreign policy course based on the status of permanent neutrality, strengthens a fruitful dialogue with international organizations and structures, where the key vectors are to ensure universal peace, security and sustainable development.
Another confirmation of this was the invitation of the President of Turkmenistan in the status of an honored guest on September 16 to the meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), which was held in the city of Samarkand.

The meetings discussed issues of mutually beneficial cooperation in a wide range of areas, including political, diplomatic, trade, economic, energy, transport and communications, construction, chemical industry, as well as in the banking and financial industry.
The publication also contains articles on the systematic transition of our country to a “green” economy.
The attention of the readers of the magazine is offered material about the regular VII Congress of the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly, which took place on September 1.
During the congress, an analysis was given of the work done over the past period, the priority tasks facing the Organization in the era of the Renaissance of the new era of a powerful state were identified, and a number of organizational issues were considered.

As President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted, in accordance with the dictates of the times, laws are regularly improved, including various areas of youth policy. With the participation of representatives of ministries and sectoral departments, political parties, public organizations, as well as youth, the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan developed a draft of a new version of the Law “On State Youth Policy”.
The impressive section of the publication “The Chronicle of the Diplomatic Life of Turkmenistan”, which reflects the activities of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in implementing the tasks set by the President of the country and promoting international initiatives of the head of state Serdar Berdimuhamedov, will also arouse great interest among readers.
