A group of Turkmen pilgrims, who made a hajj to Mecca and Medina during blessed days of the Gurban Bayramy, returned to their country safely.

As known, on the eve of the significant holiday for all Muslims, with the special flight organized by “Türkmenhowaýollary” Agency in accordance with the Order of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, 275 our compatriots from regions and Ashgabat city went to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where they joined numerous pilgrims from all over the world to bow to the Holy Kaaba.

In Medina, pilgrims visited resting places of the Prophet Muhammad, his companions, famous mosques and other holy places. In Mecca they made hajj rituals attending such main sacred places of Muslims as the Zamzam well, Masjid al-Haram where following the togap ritual, took part in the rite of circumambulation of the Holy Kaaba.

During the hajj, Turkmen pilgrims prayed the Almighty for further development of our fatherland, wellbeing of our people, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of the Milli Gengesh Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

Having returned to their fatherland, our compatriots sent their sincere acknowledgment to the head of the state for the given support, noting that having performed the hajj, they prayed the Almighty for sound health, long life, boundless energy and successes of the head of the state in all his noble undertakings for happiness and development of our fatherland.

Pilgrims in their message of gratitude to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov underlined that in independent neutral Turkmenistan in the Era of Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State under the leadership of the head of the state our happy people worthily continue national traditions and customs, which confirm the moral cleanness promoting enrichment of spiritual life of society, harmonious development of every national and cultivation of high moral qualities in the younger generation.
