For the purpose of further reforming the country’s agricultural sector in the Era of the Revival of a New Epoch of a Powerful State, increasing the volume of agricultural products produced, as well as ensuring the cultivation of generous rice harvests, the President of Turkmenistan signed a Decree “On rice production in Turkmenistan in 2022”. According to the document, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection, the khyakimliks of Dashoguz and Lebap velayats are commissioned, using a scientifically based crop rotation, in accordance with the requirements of agricultural technology, to ensure the production of a rich rice harvest in the etrap named after Saparmurat Turkmenbashi of Dashoguz velayat, in Darganata, Dyanev, Chardjev, Farab, Sayat, Khalach, Khojambaz, Kerki etraps, Dovletli etrap and Koytendag etrap of Lebap velayat.
