Today President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received Igor Burkinsky, Director of Yug-Neftegaz Private Limited (Singapore).

Expressing his sincere gratitude for the time spent, the businessman warmly congratulated the leader of the nation on a significant date - the 30th anniversary of the independence of Turkmenistan and wished him good health and new remarkable successes in large-scale activities for the benefit of the country and the people. At the same time, the high interest of Yug-Neftegaz Private Limited in strengthening its positions in the dynamically developing Turkmen market, where a favorable business and investment climate has been created, was emphasized.

Continuing the conversation, an exchange of views took place on promising areas of mutually beneficial cooperation in the context of specialized projects and programs implemented in our country in the oil and gas sector. In this regard, issues related to the activities of the aforementioned company, a long-standing business partner of Turkmenistan, at the Goturdepe field were discussed.

In September of this year, the leader of the nation signed a Resolution stipulating the conclusion of a contract by State Corporation “Türkmengeologiýa” with this company to carry out exploration and research work in 3D in the eastern section of this natural hydrocarbon deposit, as well as in 2D - in the South Burun area. In this context, Mr. Igor Burkinsky informed the head of Turkmenistan about the progress of work carried out, confirming the readiness of the company headed by him to provide the Turkmen partners with all its experience and potential.
