In the year marked by the 30th anniversary of the sacred independence of the Motherland, Turkmen grain growers have achieved great labor success. Guided by the tasks set by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to build up the economic potential of the state, ensure food security, agricultural workers of Turkmenistan have gathered a rich crop of grain this year.

On June 23, grain growers in Murghab Etrap, Mary Velayat reported to the President of Turkmenistan on the fulfillment of their contractual obligations, having handed over 41,200 tons of grain to the receiving points of the Motherland.

On June 24, grain growers in Mary Etrap, Mary Velayat and Gorogly Etrap, Dashoguz Velayat harvested more than 37,200 tons and 28,500 tons of grain, respectively.

It should be noted that President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov always pays particular attention to development of agricultural sector. Significant funds are invested into the agro-industrial complex with the aim to further develop regions, ensure food abundance in the country, prosperity of the Turkmen state and improve well-being of the people.
