Remains of ancient settlement discovered during construction of underground communications in the northwest part of Ashgabat, where construction of residential complex of the 16th stage of the capital development was carried out, is one of them.

International forums and actions, which are held in Ashgabat with big success and having preservation and popularization of national cultural heritage in the world and expansion of humanitarian relations as its main goal, are important measures on this way.
Thus, numerous international events, which confirmed an indispensable value of truth that culture and art help cover the borders and distance uniting various people in their desire for peace, goodness and progress, have been held in Ashgabat in the last years.
It includes scientific conferences dedicated to life and work of outstanding Turkmen poets and thinkers like Muhammet Gaymaz Turkmen, Bayram Khan, Mollanepes, Magtumguly Fragi, Gyrogly, study of historical monuments, literature and culture of Seljouks’ Epoch, Ancient Jeytun, Turkmen horse breeding art, heritage of the Eastern Turkmenistan in the system of medieval cultures, study of the monument of the Silk Road and many others.
VII and XIV Forums of cultural and scientific personnel of the CIS counties, which were remarkable events in implementation of potential of the Commonwealth’s countries in humanitarian sphere, have been held with success in Ashgabat in October 2012 and May 2019.
