Last week, 66 transactions were registered at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.

In foreign currency, entrepreneurs from Russia, the UAE, and Afghanistan bought polypropylene and low sulfur residual oil, produced at the Turkmenbashi Refinery Complex. Businessmen from the UAE, Scotland, Afghanistan, and Singapore made deals for purchasing ECO-93 gasoline, liquefied gas and technical grade sulfur (Türkmengaz State Concern).

Deals in foreign currency also included plain dyed and jacquard terry textiles, and cotton yarn. They were made by traders from the Russian Federation, China, Azerbaijan, and Kyrgyzstan. The sum total of the deals exceeded US $110, 672, 000.

In local currency, representatives of business circles from the UAE, Turkey, and Pakistan bought cotton yarn, licorice root extract and other medicinal products. The sum total of the transactions was over 65, 764, 000 manats.

For the domestic market, local businessmen purchased coextruded polypropylene film produced at the Turkmenbashi Refinery Complex (over 16, 000, 000 manats).
