The Mukams Palace of the State Cultural Center held the opening ceremony of the Days of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Leaders and representatives of cultural sphere of our country, the community, diplomatic missions accredited to Ashgabat, mass media, student youth gathered in the Mukams Palace of State Cultural Center to participate in solemn opening ceremony of the Days of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Turkmenistan. In the magnificent chamber, a lovely song sounds and a dance is performed, glorifying friendship of the Turkmen and Uzbek peoples. Head of the Uzbek delegation – Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Tanzila Narbaeva welcomed the participants and guests of the creative forum, emphasizing the importance of creative action in the development of cultural dialogue between the two countries. The ceremony’s participants expressed their gratitude to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President Shavkat Mirziyoyev for the course, pursued to rapprochement and mutual enrichment of cultures, strengthening of friendly relations between our peoples, and expansion of humanitarian ties. Then, masters of Arts of Uzbekistan performed on stage of the Mukams Palace. The concert program includes wonderful folk and pop melodies and songs, folklore and dance songs, conveying the depth of good feelings and sincere sympathy of our guests to the Turkmen people. On stage, well-known folk musicians and singers, popular vocalists – winners and laureates of various creative competitions alternately scintillated with talents. Many of them repeatedly performed in Turkmenistan on the occasion of holidays and important events. Thus, the performance of the popular Uzbek group “Farhod and Shirin” embellished musical show at the “Ashgabat-2017” Closing Ceremony. And today, the audience warmly greeted their favorite duet, presenting folklore and national classics in the original modern musical adaptation. Choreographic compositions of “Navruz” dance ensemble, famous far beyond the borders of Uzbekistan, became a decoration of the festive action. This art occupies a prominent place in the development of spiritual culture of the fraternal neighboring people, and today the audience could be convinced in it, applauding to the echo, appreciated impressive performances of dancers, who presented samples of national Uzbek dance, distinguished by expressiveness, liveliness, lyricism, and colorful outfits. In the magnificent chamber of the Mukams Palace, the works from the treasury of world musical culture were also presented. The concert was continued with the composition of a group of musicians, gorgeously demonstrating their performance talents and potential of the ancient national instruments. A real gift for the spectators was performance of our country’s frequent guest – People’s Artist of Uzbekistan, laureate of the contest of the President of Turkmenistan “Türkmeniň Altyn asyry” Ozodbek Nazarbekov. In the concert, our friends organically recited the poetic verses of Makhtumkuli Fragi, whose creative work is intimately associated with the ideas of peace and unity, friendship and brotherhood. The next singers sang the Turkmen folk song “Bilezigim”. The “Friendship Song”, performed by soloists and all participants of the concert, completed the festive event. In the framework of the Days of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, an exhibition of photographic art of the friendly country was held in a lobby of the Mukams Palace. Folk traditions and customs were reflected in works of the Uzbek artists. A series of photographs represented the contemporary Tashkent, distinguished by its original architectural flavor, as well as achievements of Uzbekistan in the spheres of culture and sports. On the same day, the official delegation of Uzbekistan was hosted in the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan, where the sides exchanged opinions on further development of Turkmen-Uzbek cooperation in the field of culture and art. On November 14 – in the framework of the creative campaign, there will be an demonstration of Uzbek film “Avicenna”, writers and poets of the two countries will meet in the State Library of the State Cultural Center, and in the evening Uzbek melodies and songs will be again performed in the “Vatan” Cinema and Concert Center. For guests, it is also prepared a cultural program, which includes the tour around Ashgabat sightseeing, unique exhibits of the museums. The Days of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan will be accomplished in the northern velayat’s administrative center – Dashoguz.
