Today, the 21st International Universal Exhibition “White City Ashgabat” has started its work in the Turkmen capital.

Today, a sadaqat was given in the Goktepe mosque with the participation of Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Milli Gengesh, Honored Elder of Turkmenistan, Hajji Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to commemorate deceased President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Presentation of the book of Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov “The Meaning of My Life”, published in Russian, took place today in the conference hall of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The outstanding philosophical and literary work “Ömrümiň manysy”, which the nation’s leader completed during his vacation days, is a kind of quintessence of wisdom and native national spiritual and moral values handed down by the Turkmen people from generation to generation for millennia.

Today, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs hosted a solemn conference dedicated to awarding Ashgabat an International Certificate for assistance and contribution to the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe Trees in Cities Challenge through landscaping actions. The forum was attended by representatives of international organizations working in Turkmenistan, teachers and students of higher educational institutions of the country, as well as employees of domestic mass media.

Caring for children - the younger generation, with whom the brightest hopes for the future have been associated from time immemorial, has been and remains a priority direction of the state policy of Turkmenistan, carried out in accordance with international standards and highly humanistic traditions and principles of our people.

Khyakimlik and public organizations of the city of Ashgabat came up with an initiative to hold an environmental campaign dedicated to World Health Day. Within its framework, from 4 to 11 April this year, from 8.00 to 18.00, the streets of the capital will be open only for city buses, taxis, as well as other public transport serving the population.

Today, a new pharmacy was opened in the city of Tejen, Akhal velayat, built as part of the implementation of state reform programs that provide for the development of cities and villages of the country and, above all, the National Program for the Socio-Economic Development of Turkmenistan in 2022-2052.

Turkmen nationals welcomed the National holiday of spring – International Day of Nowruz with colourful events in the atmosphere of special inspiration and joy with the most kind hopes and bright intentions. Colourful folklore and ethnographic performances, bright costumes, songs and dances that have come down from the depth of centuries highlighted a deep symbol of this event in honour of awakening of nature and renewal of life.

Today, in the conference hall of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the presentation of the book “The Spiritual World of the Turkmens”, published in Armenian, was held by esteemed President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
