A special issue of the international analytical magazine “Atavatan Türkmenistan” is published, devoted to the 25th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s independence.

On November 9, the international exhibition and scientific conference - “Education and Sports in the Epoch of Power and Happiness” - opened in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI). The event was co-organized by the Ministry of Education, the State Sports Committee and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan.

On November 4, the VI Turkmen-German Medical Forum was launched in a conference hall of the luxury hotel “Yildiz”. It is intended to become the next important step towards intensifying constructive partnership in the health sector that has been established in recent years between the two friendly countries.

On October 27, award ceremony was held at the grand “Halk Hakydasy” Memorial Complex in honor of the remarkable date in the national calendar – the 25th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Independence. Military and law enforcement personnel, who took part in the Independence Day parade, were presented with the “Türkmenistanyň Garaşsyzlygynyň 25 Ýyllygyna Bagyşlanyp Geçirilen Dabaraly Harby Ýörişe Gatnaşyja” Commemorative Medal in recognition of their contribution to the well-organized event.

24 October the presentation of “Turkmenistan”, a new book by President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov, took place in the capital of our country. The new publication was a wonderful gift to our compatriots and many friends of our country on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of our Motherland’s Independence. As is known, first copies were handed over by the national Leader at the enlarged meeting of the Government last week.

On October 24, the Turkmen capital hosted the XIX Conference of the Humanitarian Association of Turkmens of the World (HATW) convened in line with the Decree of President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov, the President of this reputable international organization. The Forum of compatriots, traditionally timed to coincide with the main holiday of the Motherland- Independence Day, was attended by delegates from every corner of the country, representatives of Turkmen diasporas from 16 states of the world, including Russia, Great Britain, Germany, Sweden, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.

To commemorate the 25th anniversary of the independence of the Motherland, the country’s Central Bank has issued gold and silver coins to the value of 100 manats, and a set of these coins.

Explanation of regulations and innovations, formation of responsible citizenship concerning the timely and full payment of taxes, development of tax culture and increase of tax literacy of the population – the main mission of the professional magazine, issued by the Main State Tax Service of Turkmenistan.

It was published the 9th volume selected works of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov. The book “Towards new heights of progress” included program keynotes, speeches, articles, interviews, addresses, greetings and congratulations of the Head of the State ‒ total amount is 100 works for 2015.

Last week Conference Hall of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs hosted the International Research-to-Practice Conference “Establishing Constitutional State: National Experience and Global Development”. Many foreign guests including scientists and parliamentarians from Afghanistan, Iran, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan etc. were invited to take part in this representative forum devoted to the new edition of Turkmenistan’s Constitution adopted at the Council of the Elders.
