People of Bugdaily village, Esenguly etrap received a wonderful gift for the upcoming national spring holiday. A modern sport and recreation complex, erected within the framework of “The National Program of the President of Turkmenistan on improving social conditions of the population of villages, settlements, etrap towns and etrap centers till 2020”, was inaugurated here.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the State Enterprise for the Caspian Sea under the President of Turkmenistan jointly with the International Ocean Institute (IOI) organized the international seminar ""The Caspian Sea - Sustainable Development and Management"" in the Avaza National tourism zone. Experts from various ministries and departments of Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Russia and our country take part in the event, as well as international experts - IOI scientific consultants in the field of maritime economy, politics, management, ecology, law of the sea and other disciplines take part in the seminar.

On the eve of the International Women's Day, celebrations were held with the participation of the leaders of the Mejlis, ministries and branch departments and public organizations. A bright event of the festive marathon was the ceremony of honoring mothers who gave birth and brought up eight and more children who were awarded the honorary title ""Ene Myahri"" in accordance with the Decree of the Head of the state and handling keys for new comfortable flats to families having many children.

The regular VII Turkmen-German Health Care Forum held in Berlin on March 5-6 focused on the outcomes of the bilateral cooperation in the applied medicine sphere and new areas of cooperation.

Conference hall of Magtumguly Turkmen State University hosted the presentation of book «The Doctrine of Arkadag – a Basis of Health and Inspiration». Members of the Government, deputies of the Mejlis, heads of the ministries and departments, non-governmental organizations, political scientists, representatives of art intelligentsia, sport sphere, universities and mass media took part in the event.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov went out to Karakum Desert by sport vehicle. His son Serdar – the deputy of the Mejlis and Honoured Coach of the country, accompanied him in the ride.

The Central Officers’ Club of the Ministry of Defense hosted a ceremony where state awards were conferred on defenders of Motherland and publication of “The Doctrine of Arkadag – a Basis of Health and Inspiration”, a new book dedicated to the multifaceted work of the head of state, was celebrated.

The President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution, having assigned to hold Caspian Sea: Sustainable Development and Management seminar with the participation of related departments of Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan Republic, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation in cooperation with the International Oceans Institute and the State Agency for Caspian Sea Affairs under the President of Turkmenistan in Avaza National tourist zone on March 5 – 16, 2018.

In Turkmenistan, the most important stage of the preparatory work was completed, which was deployed everywhere in connection with March 25 elections of the deputies of the Mejlis, members of the Khalk Maslakhaty and Gengeshes.

International Airport was opened with the participation of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Turkmenabat, the administration centre of Lebap Velayat.
