National Spring Holiday – the International Nowruz Day, which was marked by tree planting event, was widely celebrated in Ashgabat. Ashgabat citizens took active part in cultural and ecological events organized by the city administration of Ashgabat and by the Construction and Energy complex.

National Spring Holiday - International Nowruz Day was celebrated with great effect in Turkmenistan. The main events of the celebration were expanded on tradition place «Nowruz ýaýlasy» where the building in the shape of huge traditional tent «Türkmeniň ak öýi» has been built.

The festivities in Akhal velayat in honor of the national spring festival, Nowruz, began with mass tree planting, launched by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

On the occasion of the 10th anniversary, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan held the research and practical conference ""Diplomacy of neutral Turkmenistan: from history to the future"".

President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has signed a Decree “On pardoning convicted people in honor of National Spring Festival” to release convicted people from further serving their primary and additional punishment in the form of living in the law-sanctioned place of residence.

The State Medical University hosted the meeting with representative of the Senior Expert Services (Germany), Professor Wolfgang Kaschka.

Today, the Turkmen television broadcast a video clip, dedicated to the festivities on occasion of the International Women's Day that was recorded on March 8. Women from all regions of the country, who achieved the great success in labor, education of children, and social work, attended the concert.

The Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Relations of Turkmenistan is ready to celebrate the 10th anniversary of its foundation. Vice-premier, the Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov informed on the reparation of celebration events during the session of the Government.

On March 15, early voting started in all constituencies in the run-up to the elections of Mejlis deputies (the sixth convocation), Khalk Maslakhaty and Gengesh members in accordance with the Election Code of Turkmenistan.
