The recent International exhibition of national products of the countries of Central Asia became a bright evidence of success of the policy pursed by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov "open doors» and wide international cooperation, aimed at sustainable development of mutually beneficial partnership, including expansion of foreign economic and foreign trade relations.

In honor of the International Day of the Caspian, which is annually celebrated on August 12 by the five Caspian states, a scientific-practical conference «Cooperation in the field of protection of the marine environment of the Caspian Sea» was held in Ashgabat. 

In the present period gender equality plays a key role in maintenance of stability and consent in society, realisation of huge potential of human on the basis of sustainable development. In the given context issues of creation of the equal rights and possibilities for women act among priorities of national politicians of the countries of the world, including Central Asian ones.

Comprehensive care for children, creation of favorable conditions for their physical and spiritual development, safeguards for the rights of young Turkmen citizens to education, health care and many other things are the most important aspect of the socially oriented policy pursued by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

Today in Bereket district a new water reservoir intended for delivery of water of the Karakum-river to agricultural fields of the western region of the country was put in operation.

Today President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has taken part in the opening of the new military unit of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan, and also a complex of new buildings of the frontier post of the State Border Service.

One of the important events, which took place on August 6 in Avaza national tourist zone and dated for the Consultative meeting of heads of the states of Central Asia, held under the chairmanship of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, was the Economic forum of the countries of the region. As it was already informed, members of governments, heads of ministries and branch departments, representatives of financial organisations, private business, other corresponding structures, and also mass media of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kirghiz Republic, Republic of Tajikistan, Republic of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan took part in it.

I sincerely congratulate you on the commissioning of a new reservoir with a volume of 18 million cubic meters in the Bereket etrap of the Balkan velayat in the year of the era of power and happiness, the motto of which is "Turkmenistan is the Motherland of Peace and Trust", on the eve of the glorious 30th anniversary of independence of the Motherland!

Being an initiative participant of international processes, independent neutral Turkmenistan under the leadership of President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov strengthens still more its economic might, improves social and living conditions of the people’s life, and increases its authority as a reliable, responsible partner at the regional and global level. The past eventful week was yet another demonstration of successful realization of the ‘open doors’ policy and multi-faceted socially-orientated programs initiated by the leader of nation.
