The issues of strengthening inter-parliamentary cooperation became the main topic of discussion during the meeting of the Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov with the Chairman of the Majlisi Milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Chairman of the city of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali.

Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting via the digital system with the participation of the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers in charge of the agro-industrial complex, the hyakims of the velayats, having considered issues related to the progress of seasonal work on the country's agricultural lands.
On May 12-13 this year, Ashgabat will host the Inter-Parliamentary Forum and the Dialogue of Women from Central Asia and Russia.
Today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan has hosted a joint meeting of the Interdepartmental Commission on the implementation of international obligations of Turkmenistan in the field of human rights and international humanitarian law and UN country team with participation of representatives of the Halk Maslakhaty and Mejlis of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan, a number of ministries, sectoral departments, public organizations and international missions accredited to our country.
Today, the capital has hosted a regular meeting of the General Assembly of the National Olympic Committee of Turkmenistan. Within the framework of its agenda, the report on the activity of NOC for 2016-2021 was heard and the issues connected with election of the President of the National Olympic Committee of the country were considered.
In order to further develop international cooperation of Turkmenistan in the Caspian Sea region, preserve the environment of the Caspian Sea, strengthen international relations aimed at ensuring sustainable development in the region, as well as training and professional development of employees of relevant state institutions in this direction, the President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution, prescribing in the period May 16-27, 2022, with the participation of representatives of the relevant ministries and sectoral departments of Turkmenistan, the embassies of the Caspian states in Turkmenistan, in partnership with the Institute of the Caspian Sea and the International Institute of Oceans, to hold international training seminars “Caspian Sea - sustainable development and management” in the city of Ashgabat.
Building the potential of bilateral inter-parliamentary relations in strengthening fruitful relations between the two neighboring states was discussed at the meeting of the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov with the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jabbarov Mikayil Chingiz oglu held today.
