Today, the capital has hosted the Inter-Parliamentary Forum of countries of Central Asia and the Russian Federation, an initiator of organization of which is Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. The flower-laying ceremony at the Monument to the Constitution of Turkmenistan took place before the Forum.

As a result of the Inter-Parliamentary Forum of the countries of Central Asia and the Russian Federation in Ashgabat, two agreements on cooperation were signed.

Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Tanzila Narbayeva, who arrived in Turkmenistan to participate in the Inter-Parliamentary Forum of the Central Asian States and the Russian Federation, and in the plenary session of the Women’s Dialogue.

Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received Chairwoman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matviyenko, who arrived in Turkmenistan at the head of her country's delegation to participate in the Inter-Parliamentary Forum of the States of Central Asia and Russia and in the plenary session of the Women's Dialogue.

In order to further improve the efficiency of the work being carried out during the Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State to protect the environment, prevent climate change, timely implement the provisions arising from the National Strategy of Turkmenistan on Climate Change, the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and the Paris Agreement, the President Turkmenistan signed the Decree approving the Nationally determined contributions (NDCs) of Turkmenistan under the Paris Agreement.

Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received Maulen Ashimbayev, Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, who arrived in Turkmenistan at the head of his country's delegation to participate in the Inter-Parliamentary Forum of Central Asian States and the Russian Federation.
