On the 11th of June, the next stage of the election campaign ended – the registration of candidates for deputies of the Mejlis to replace those who dropped out.

It is an indisputable fact that science is a basis of progress, a driving force of transformations in all spheres of life of state and society in the modern world.

Today, a meeting was held in the capital between the Chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan D. Gulmanova and the Deputy Chairperson of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Konstantin Kosachev.

In the Era of Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State in our country all conditions are created to train the competent and well-educated younger generation, which brings a worthy contribution to achievement of modern science. Development of professionally competent youth with higher education and broad outlook for the bright future of our fatherland - one of our main tasks. With a view of encouragement of our talented youth in topical and fundamental researches in the field of science, education and innovative technologies, according to the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan № 14109 «On organization of competition of research work among the youth of Turkmenistan» of February 6, 2015 as well as on the occasion of Science Day, I decree:

On June 12, 2024, on behalf of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Chairman of the Mejlis D. Gulmanova accepted credentials from the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Australia to Turkmenistan John William Giering.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, on behalf of the people and the Government of Turkmenistan, as well as on his own behalf, sent heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mihayil Mishustin and the entire people of the country on the occasion of Russia Day.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent sincere congratulations to Mr. Narendra Modi on the victory of his Indian People's Party in the general parliamentary elections and his re-election as Prime Minister of the Republic of India.

On June 11, 2024, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a series of meetings with the heads of some companies operating in Turkmenistan.

Today, the capital city hosted the international scientific conference «Development and the future of innovative technologies in Turkmenistan», timed to the significant date of the national calendar – Science Day.

Today, the Turkmen-Korean business forum is being held in the capital as part of the state visit of the President of the Republic of Korea to Turkmenistan.
