Last week, 25 transactions were registered at the State Commodities and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.

On August 29, an important agricultural campaign – cotton harvesting, started simultaneously in three velayats of Turkmenistan - Akhal, Lebap, and Mary velayats. Little later, on September 6, cotton growers of Dashoghuz velayat (the northern region of the country) will join the campaign.

The capital’s EXPO-Center “Sergi kosgi” hosted a ceremonious opening of the International exhibition “Turkmengurlushyk-2015”. In the frames of the Exhibition, the conference - “Development of Turkmenistan’s construction industry”, started its work.

Turkmen business people took part in the 84th International Izmir Exhibition that opened on August 25. Annually organized by the Turkish Ministry of Trade and the Izmir city’s Chamber of Commerce, the well-known and one of the largest fairs traditionally gathered more than a thousand exhibitors from about sixty countries. The fair is expected to be visited by more than one and a half million attendees.

On the week bygone, the Turkmen capital hosted the Turkmen-Kazakh business forum attended by representatives of leading ministries and sectoral departments, the Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Union of Turkmenistan, as well as by a representative delegation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In the past week, the capital’s exhibition centre «Sergikösgi» hosted XI specialized exhibition of the Republic of Iran organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and Iranian company «ParsPegahTejarat».
