At the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan 53 transactions were registered this week.

The list of industrial, cultural and public buildings and facilities scheduled for commissioning in 2017 was approved. The relevant order was signed by the President of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

The Avaza National Tourist Zone will be developed by the Turkmen entrepreneurs. As reported at today’s session of the Cabinet of Ministers, the members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs propose to construct the total of 66 two-storey villas, and 5 entertainment centers with pools; sports courts; children’s playgrounds; and food courts.

Ashgabat has hosted the 2nd seminar on Turkmen-Korean economic cooperation. A representative delegation of the Republic of Korea arrived in Turkmenistan to take part in it. Among those attending the seminar from the Turkmen side were senior officials and leading specialists from some ministries and agencies.

This week State Raw Materials and Commodity Exchange of Turkmenistan has concluded 36 transactions at the auctions.

Turkmenistan is preparing to participate at the “EXPO-2017” International Exhibition to be held from June 10 to September 10 in the capital of Kazakhstan –Astana city under the motto “Future Energy”.

Targeting the local industrial sectors at deep development and industrial exploration of the country’s natural resources, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov stresses the necessity of the more active engagement of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs in this work through offering certain incentives to the enterprises involved in the development of underground treasures.

Construction of 1 thousand 900 major facilities worth over 48 billion USD is currently underway in Turkmenistan. 1 790 of them are being built by the local enterprises.

Production capacities of the new unit, recently put into operation at “Serdar” cotton mill in Kaka district, are expected to produce 1300 tons of cable-spun cotton yarn every year.

By a Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan, Vice Chairman of “Turkmengas” State Concern Myrat Gurbandurdyevich Archaev has been appointed Acting Minister of State of Turkmenistan – Acting Chairman of “Turkmengas” State Concern.
