The United Nations General Secretary Antonio Guterres sent the letter to President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov expressing the gratitude for warm welcome and hospitality given during his visit to Ashgabat.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov took part in public event dedicated to 50-days countdown until the start of V Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games. The action started with cycling race where thousands of compatriots – capital and regions residents, took part.

On completion of the mass bicycle race the head of the state had a talk with Jean Tomlin, chief executive officer of British company Trivandi Сhanzo Ltd who noticed that for the company – it is a great honour to be partner of Turkmenistan in preparation for the 5th Asian indoor and martial arts games.

In the conference hall of the executive committee for preparation for the 5th AIMAG the briefing organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the executive committee of the Asian Games took place.

Past week at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan 10 transactions were registered.

President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov gave a number of instructions for holding the V Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games, which will be held in September this year in Ashgabat.

Next week, new passenger buses and taxis will start to serve residents and guests of Ashgabat.

Mass bike ride will be held in Ashgabat on Saturday. The sporting event is dedicated to the 50-day countdown to the beginning of the 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games. The issues of holding this action were discussed at the field meeting of the government, which President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov held at the Ashgabat International Airport upon his return from ""Avaza"" tourist zone.

Sports and music festival was held in honor of 50 days before the beginning of the V Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games in the multifunctional sports complex of the capital Abadan Etrap.

Briefing on the occasion of 50 days before the start of the 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games organized by the Embassy of Turkmenistan was held in the capital of the People's Republic of China. The event was attended by representatives of China's leading media, including the International TV Channel ""SSTW Russian"", the International Radio of China, the daily People's newspaper (""People's Daily Online""), ""Xinhua"" News Agency, ""China"" magazine, Lookwee , ""Vitva"" (VITVO), employees of press services of diplomatic missions accredited to the PRC, public circles, as well as Turkmen students studying in Beijing universities.
