In order to consistently build up the partnership between Turkmenistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran, the President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution approving the composition of the Joint Turkmen-Iranian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation from the Turkmen side.

In order to successfully fulfill the tasks set for the oil and gas industry of Turkmenistan, the President of Turkmenistan signed a number of documents according to which the state concerns «Türkmengaz» and «Türkmennebit» are allowed to conclude contracts with the companies «Petronas Çarigali (Türkmenistan) Sdn. Bhd». (Malaysia) and «ADNOC Turkmenistan RSC Limited» (UAE).

On May 14, 2025, National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with the Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology of the United Arab Emirates, CEO of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, UAE Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Suhail Al Mazrouei and Minister of State for the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ahmed Al Sayegh.

On May 14, 2025, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with representatives of the Petronas company – CEO Tan Sri Tengku Muhammad Taufik, Executive Vice President Mohd Jukris Abdul Wahab, Vice President for International Extractive Assets Mohd Redhani Abdul Rahman.

Today, the capital hosted an international meeting with the participation of leaders and representatives of the domestic fuel and energy complex, oil and gas industry specialists and relevant industry departments of the United Arab Emirates and the Malaysian company «Petronas». The participation of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Hero-Arkadag further increased its significance.

Today, the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Foreign Policy and Diplomacy of Turkmenistan: Cooperation for the Sake of Peace, Safety and Sustainable Development” commenced at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country.

Today, the Central Asian Conference on Climate Change, organised by the Ministry of Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan jointly with the Regional Environmental Centre for Central Asia (CAREC), began its work at the capital's «Yyldyz» Hotel.

Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T.Atahalliyev and khyakims of the velayats to consider the state of affairs in the agricultural sector and regions of the country.

Taking into account the great contribution to bringing Turkmen sports to a high level in the era of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state, successful performance in the top league of Turkmenistan, victory in the final of the Asian Football Confederation Challenge League and the fact that the football team «Arkadag» was awarded the Cup of the international tournament, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Order. 

Today, celebrations on the occasion of the victory of the «Arkadag» football team in the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Challenge League took place. It became a clear evidence of the fact that at the initiative of Hero-Arkadag and under the wise leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov national sports, including the football team of the new city, enter the international level.
