Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting via the digital system with the participation of Minister of Agriculture Ch.Chetiyev and regional hyakims to consider issues related to the country’s agro-industrial sector and work being carried out in the regions.

The floor was given first to Ahal Velayat Hyakim T. Nurmyradov, who reported on the current seasonal agricultural campaigns in the region.

As reported, in preparation for the upcoming wheat sowing season, fields cleared after the grain harvest are being plowing, leveled, and fertilized with minerals. Measures are being taken to prepare agricultural machinery and seeds for the season.

Appropriate maintenance work is underway in the velayat’s cotton fields. In addition, necessary pest control measures are being implemented.

Meanwhile, the planting of autumn potatoes, vegetables, melons, and other agricultural crops continues in the region, and the planted plots are being tended.

Every effort is being made to ensure timely payments to service organizations and enterprises from wheat and cotton producers for the work carried out.

A report was also presented on the progress of construction of social, cultural, and production facilities planned for the region as part of the National Rural Program.

Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the importance of implementing agricultural measures in the velayat’s fields, particularly proper cotton care and pest control, as well as organized preparation for the next wheat sowing season and timely payments between producers and service organizations, giving particular instructions to the hyakim in this regard.

Furthermore, the head of state ordered oversight of the high-quality and timely completion of construction work at facilities planned for commissioning in the region this year in accordance with the National Rural Program.

Then, Balkan Velayat Hyakim R. Jumayev reported on the progress of seasonal campaigns in the region.

It was reported that work is currently underway to prepare fields cleared after grain harvesting, as well as agricultural machinery and high-quality wheat seeds for the next season.

Inter-row cultivation, irrigation, mineral fertilizer application, and pest control are being carried out in the region’s cotton sown fields.

To successfully achieve the objectives of further strengthening the country’s food security, necessary measures are being taken to prepare farmland for the fall planting of potatoes, vegetables, and melons.

Practical steps are being taken to ensure timely payments between wheat and cotton producers and service organizations for work performed in the current season.

The hyakim also reported on the progress of work planned in the region for this year as part of the country’s socio-economic development programs.

After hearing the report, the President of Turkmenistan emphasized the importance of ongoing seasonal agricultural campaigns. In this regard, the hyakim was assigned to ensure that the maintenance and pest control measures in cotton fields are carried out in accordance with agricultural requirements, the wheat planting season is properly prepared, as well as payments between agricultural producers and service companies and organizations are made in a timely manner.

The head of state also ordered that the high-quality and timely completion of work in the velayat in accordance with the National Rural Program be monitored.

Then, the hyakim of Dashoguz velayat, D. Babayev, reported on the seasonal agricultural activities being carried out in the region.

As reported, plowing and land leveling are currently underway in the velayat’s fields allocated for the upcoming wheat sowing in accordance with agricultural requirements. Necessary measures are being taken to prepare agricultural machinery and high-quality wheat seeds for sowing.

Inter-row cultivation, mineral fertilization, vegetation irrigation, and pest control are being implemented in cotton fields.

Additionally, the velayat has completed the sowing of vegetable, melon, and other agricultural crops, and is currently maintaining the crops.

Rice fields continue to be maintained and fertilized with minerals in accordance with agricultural standards.

Necessary measures are being taken to ensure timely payments for completed seasonal work between wheat and cotton producers and service companies and institutions.

Furthermore, a report was given on the progress of construction of social, cultural, and industrial facilities scheduled for commissioning in the velayat this year.

After hearing the report, the President of Turkmenistan instructed the hyakim to ensure cotton crop care and pest prevention measures in accordance with agricultural technology requirements, organized preparation for wheat sowing, and timely payments between agricultural producers and service companies.

Furthermore, the head of state instructed that quality control and timeliness be ensured for the construction of various facilities planned for opening in the velayat this year.

Furthermore, the hyakim of the Lebap velayat, H. Ashyrmyradov, reported on the ongoing seasonal agricultural work in the region.

As reported, in preparation for sowing wheat for next year’s harvest, plowing and land leveling are underway in fields cleared of grain. At the same time, measures are being taken to maintain agricultural machinery used in the sowing campaign and select high-quality wheat seeds.

Inter-row cultivation, mineral fertilization, vegetation irrigation, and pest control are being implemented in the velayat’s cotton fields.

To successfully achieve the goals of increasing the country’s production of vegetable and melon crops, the region is preparing for the autumn sowing of these crops.

At the same time, maintenance work is being carried out in rice fields in accordance with agricultural standards.

Payments for executed seasonal work are ongoing between wheat and cotton producers, as well as service companies and institutions.

Furthermore, the hyakim reported on the status of construction sites planned for commissioning in the velayat this year in accordance with the National Rural Program.

After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of adhering to agricultural standards during the ongoing seasonal campaigns on agricultural lands and, in this regard, ordered that cotton crop care and pest prevention efforts be closely monitored, as well as ensuring preparation for the upcoming wheat sowing and timely performing calculations between agricultural producers and service companies.

Emphasizing the importance of successfully completing the country’s socio-economic development programs, the President instructed that the quality of work planned in the velayat for the current year is monitored.

Then, the hyakim of Mary velayat, B. Orazgylyjov, reported on the ongoing seasonal agricultural activities in the region.

It was reported that, in order to lay the foundation for next year’s wheat harvest, plowing of grain fields cleared after harvest, soil leveling, fertilization with minerals, and preparation of machinery and seed for the upcoming season are underway.

In the velayat’s cotton fields, inter-row cultivation, mineral fertilization, vegetation irrigation, and pest control are being carried out in accordance with agricultural practices.

Meanwhile, work is underway to prepare agricultural land for the fall season for potato, vegetable, melon, and other crops.

At the same time, necessary maintenance work is being carried out in sugar beet fields.

Payments for the executed seasonal work between agricultural producers, as well as service companies and institutions, are continuing in the velayat.

At the same time, the head of state instructed that the quality and timing of work carried out in the velayat in accordance with the National Rural Program be constantly monitored.

Then, Minister of Agriculture Ch. Chetiyev reported on the extended seasonal campaigns in the country’s agriculture sector.

As reported, in preparation for laying the foundation for next year’s wheat harvest, plowing and leveling of land cleared after the grain harvest are currently underway, as well as the selection of high-quality seeds.

In the velayats’ cotton fields, inter-row cultivation, mineral fertilization, vegetation irrigation, and pest control are being carried out.

Along with this, measures are being taken to prepare the land for planting potatoes, vegetables, melons, and other food crops for the autumn season.

After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed that cotton crop care and pest prevention be strictly monitored nationwide, as well as preparations for sowing wheat and other crops.

Then, addressing the participants of the working meeting, the head of state once again emphasized the ongoing seasonal work in agriculture and ordered that attention be paid to its timely and high-quality completion.
