On June 5, 2026, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received Eric Stewart, the Executive Director of the Turkmen-American Business Council, who is currently visiting our country.

Expressing his sincere gratitude to the Head of State for the opportunity to discuss priority areas of bilateral partnership, the businessman confirmed the interest of US business circles in further intensifying cooperation with Turkmenistan, which demonstrates a steady dynamic of economic development.

Noting that mutual business visits at various levels contribute to the development of bilateral relations, the businessman emphasized the importance of the meeting between President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and President Donald Trump during the visit of the Head of Turkmenistan to the United States of America last year.

Warmly welcoming the guest, the Head of State expressed confidence that the meeting of the Turkmen-American Business Council held during his visit to Turkmenistan provided a good opportunity to exchange views on promising areas of partnership.

As noted during the meeting, Turkmenistan attaches great importance to the development of friendly relations with the United States of America. At the same time, it was emphasized that the interstate dialogue is built on the principles of equal cooperation, mutual respect, and trust.

The activation of Turkmen-American interaction in recent years gives impetus to the further expansion of established productive ties. One of the key vectors of interstate relations is trade and economic cooperation. In this field, Turkmenistan has accumulated positive experience in partnering with such world-famous American companies as Boeing, General Electric, John Deere, Case New Holland, and Nicklaus Design. In this context, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the significant contribution of the Turkmen-American Business Council to the development of bilateral cooperation.

Noting with satisfaction that relations between the business structures of Turkmenistan and the US are developing in promising directions, and the number of companies showing interest in cooperation is growing every year, the Head of State noted the need to organize regular meetings between the business communities of both countries.

Speaking of this, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that Turkmenistan supports the expansion of mutually beneficial partnerships with American companies and is ready to consider their specific proposals.

Expressing gratitude to the Head of State for the trust shown, the businessman confirmed the readiness of US business circles to strengthen their positions in the promising Turkmen market and to participate in the implementation of new joint projects.
