On May 25, 2026, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, met with Ahmet Chalık, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the "Çalyk Holding" group of companies. The meeting reviewed the progress of significant ongoing construction projects.

Expressing gratitude for the time spared for the meeting, Ahmet Chalık conveyed greetings and best wishes from the President of the Republic of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen people. The Chairman of the Board of Directors of "Çalyk Holding" also congratulated Hero-Arkadag, the Head of Turkmenistan and the Turkmen people on the grandly celebrated Ashgabat City Day.

Thanking him for the congratulations and well wishes, Hero-Arkadag noted that he was glad to welcome the businessman to the hospitable Turkmen land. The National Leader of the Turkmen people also extended reciprocal greetings and best wishes to the President of Türkiye, both on his own behalf and on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan.

Noting that he views the favorable conditions created by the state for foreign partners, particularly for Turkish companies, as a sign of great respect, Ahmet Chalık reported on the results of his company's activities in Turkmenistan. As reported, construction is currently progressing at an accelerated pace on a modern combined-cycle power plant – the largest in the region—on the Turkmen coast of the Caspian Sea, as well as on a powerful new urea production complex, the foundation of which was recently laid in the Turkmenbashi etrap of the Balkan region.

As Hero-Arkadag noted, the modernization of the Ahal-Teke Equestrian Complex of the President of Turkmenistan is currently underway.

At the same time, Hero-Arkadag emphasized that when equipping energy facilities, medical centers, and the equestrian complex, special attention must be paid to digital technologies, as well as organizing their operations based on advanced international experience and scientific achievements. In particular, the high-tech equipment installed at the Ahal-Teke Equestrian Complex of the President of Turkmenistan must ensure ventilation in the stables and monitor the health status of the horses.

Taking this opportunity, Ahmet Chalık congratulated Hero-Arkadag on the successful performance of the "Galkynyş" National Equestrian Games Group at the International Ethnosport and Culture Festival in Istanbul, where they earned a prestigious award. The businessman also shared that Bilal Erdoğan attended the festival, watching the performance of the "heavenly" Ahal-Teke horses with great interest, and extended his greetings and congratulations to Hero-Arkadag on the group's success.

Hero-Arkadag expressed his deep condolences on the passing of Ahmet Chalık’s father, Mahmut Chalık. Hero-Arkadag offered words of support to the businessman and his family.

In accordance with the ancestral customs of the Turkmen people, which have found continuity in the modern era, and in connection with the passing of the father of Ahmet Chalık – Chairman of the Board of Directors of the "Çalyk Holding" group of companies, which has been operating in Turkmenistan for many years – condolences were expressed, and a verse from the Quran (ayat) was recited so that the soul of the deceased may rest in paradise.
