Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with Prime Minister of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Nyo Soe, who arrived in the Turkmen capital to participate in large-scale events held in our country.

Having warmly welcomed and thanked the distinguished guest for accepting the invitation to participate in the International Forum on the occasion of the International year of peace and trust, International neutrality day, and the 30^th anniversary of permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan, the head of state noted the significance of the current visit of Prime Minister of Myanmar to our country to participate in this representative Forum.

Expressing gratitude for the hospitality, the head of government of the friendly state emphasized that policy of neutrality of Turkmenistan is an example for the entire world, and the current International forum, aimed at strengthening global peace and trust, is a clear example of this. Expressing confidence that its results will greatly contribute to the advancement of friendly relations in the region and globally, Prime Minister Nyo Soe congratulated President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the entire Turkmen people on International neutrality day and the 30^th anniversary of permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan.

Thanking for the kind words, the head of state noted that our country attaches great importance to developing relations with states in the Asia-Pacific region. At the same time, he emphasised the extensive opportunities for expanding partnership with Myanmar in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian spheres.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov also emphasised that our country advocates for active cooperation not only bilaterally, but also within authoritative international organisations, primarily the United Nations.

The head of state also noted that during his current visit, the Prime Minister of Myanmar will be able to become familiar with economic potential, production, and export capabilities of Turkmenistan. In this regard, the Turkmen side reaffirmed its readiness to establish bilateral cooperation in various areas and to support the specific proposals of friendly country for establishing a mutually beneficial partnership.

At the end of the meeting, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Prime Minister of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Nyo Soe wished each other good health, prosperity, and success in their responsible government duties.
