Today, with the participation of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the autumn season of the nationwide tree-planting campaign was launched across the country.

In the Era of Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State, the initiatives of Hero-Arkadag aimed at transforming our Motherland into a blooming oasis are being successfully implemented under the wise leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. The tree-planting campaign is one of the most important nationwide events, symbolizing the country’s commitment to the principles of environmental well-being.

The nationwide tree-planting campaign is not only an environmental event but also an important social and cultural occasion that helps strengthen unity within society. Such activities instill in the younger generation a culture of caring for nature and living in harmony with the environment. In our country, planting seedlings has become a noble tradition and a priority of state policy aimed at implementing large-scale reforms that contribute to the creation of new parks, forested areas, and the enrichment of the plant world of Turkmen land. Thanks to such campaigns, the capital and other cities of our country are being covered with green zones.

The participation of the Head of State in this large-scale event, organized throughout the country, further enhanced its significance. This has clearly demonstrated that national traditions, formed by our wise ancestors over the centuries, are developing in the spirit of the modern era.

As in all regions of the Motherland, the forested areas in the foothills of Ashgabat are expanding, including zones where juniper trees have been planted. The awarding of an International Certificate to the city of Ashgabat for its contribution to the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe’s initiative “Trees in Cities” through tree-planting campaigns is an achievement of the country in developing environmental diplomacy and serves as confirmation that the efforts of our people to protect nature are being highly recognized.

Thus, today’s mass tree-planting ceremony became a vivid demonstration of our country’s worthy contribution to global efforts to ensure environmental well-being, protect the natural environment, and achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.
