Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov took part in the stone-laying ceremony of a complex for manufacture of mineral fertilizers of the Turkmenabat chemical plant named after S.A.Niyazov.

The chemical industry of Turkmenistan under the wise leadership of the head of the state, who worthily continues great undertakings of Hero-Arkadag, promptly develops and acts as an important part of the strategy of diversification of national economy. Enormous natural resources of the country enable to provide the sector with raw materials. Turkmenistan, which is not limited only to export of raw materials and aspires to its deep processing, forms the hi-tech and competitive chemical industry.

Our country, which occupies one of the lead positions in the world for reserves of natural gas, consistently realises the policy aimed at effective utilisation of these riches. The gas chemical industry, which manufactures a highly demanding production from natural gas in the world markets, takes one of the basic places in this strategy.

Turkmenistan also strengthens its positions in the international markets as a large manufacturer of mineral fertilizers. The modern factories equipped with the advanced technologies in Mary, Tejen and Garabogaz make high quality ammonia and urea. Apart from full satisfaction of the demand of agriculture of Turkmenistan, possibilities for export of this production abroad were created and it serves a strategic contribution made not only in maintenance of food abundance of our country, but also our partners.

One of the most famous enterprises of the national gas chemical industries in the world is the gas chemistry complex in Kiyanly, which manufactures a wide spectrum of production, including pipes, polyethylene and polypropylene, used in light industry, motor industry and in many other branches. Release of this production, the high quality of which was confirmed by international certificates, promotes development of the national processing industry and increase of its competitiveness.

The factory for manufacture of non-polluting gasoline from natural gas in Akhal acts among the advanced innovative projects in the world. It shows that our country is not limited only to diversification of diversification, but aspires to introduce non-polluting, high technologies.

Turkmenistan takes one of the leading places in the world for reserves of iodide-bromine water industrial waters. Factories "Hazar", «Balkanabat» and «Bereket» are the large enterprises for manufacture of technical iodine. Creation of additional capacities within the new investment projects is urged to become a contribution to the further increase of export potential of the country in this sphere.

Besides it, the Garlyk mining complex of potash fertilizers successfully functions in Lebap velayat. Construction of an additional new complex at the Turkmenabat chemical plant will allow providing agriculture completely with all kinds of mineral fertilizers.

Development of the chemical industry is inseparably linked with the investment policy realised in the country. Cooperation with such leading companies of the world as «Daewoo» (Republic of Korea), «Mitsubishi» (Japan), promotes introduction of hi-tech and non-polluting productions.

Presence of hi-tech manufactures demands the maintenance of the corresponding personnel. The Turkmenabat vocational school of "Türkmenhimiýa" State Concern as well as higher educational institutions of the country ensure training of specialists capable to operate modern industrial facilities.

… The presidential airliner, having taken off from the capital, in some time landed in the international airport of Turkmenabat city. The Chairwoman of the Mejlis, deputy-chairman of the Cabinet, khyakim of Lebap velayat welcomed the head of the state warmly.

There was organized the song and music performances of workers of culture and art.

Then, the President of Turkmenistan arrived in the venue of the ceremony where on the occasion of the present celebration, song and music performances were held. Further, the head of the state headed towards to the specially equipped conference hall and made a welcoming speech.

Having warmly congratulated participants of the stone-laying ceremony of the complex for manufacture of mineral fertilizers at the Turkmenabat chemical plant named after  S.A.Niyazov in Lebap velayat with the significant event, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov pointed out that the chemical industry acts among key sectors of our economy.

As was underlined, for development of the sector, a large-scale work is carried out in the country: huge volumes of investments are made, large-scale projects are realised, and modern technologies are introduced into manufacture.

At present, a number of large enterprises of the chemical industry effectively function. At these powerful enterprises the high-quality production, volumes of which consistently grow, is made at the expense of use of local raw materials.

large-scale projects implemented in the Era of Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state and new industrial facilities commissioned into operation, are aimed at strengthening economy, maintenance of peace and happy life of our people, the head of Turkmenistan continued his speech and underlined that in implementation of these projects a special significance is attached to observance of ecological requirements, introduction of high technologies.

Large industrial projects carried out together with our partners receive a positive assessment of their full conformity to high quality, innovative solutions and ecological requirements from authoritative international organisations, President Serdar Berdymuhamedov has told.

As was marked, the project of the new complex for manufacture mineral fertilizers at the Turkmenabat chemical plant named after S.A.Niyazov of "Türkmenhimiýa" State Concern will be realised by Daewoo Company of the Republic of Korea.

In construction of the given complex, the foundation of which is laid today, innovative technologies and latest equipment, which will allow observing ecology requirements, will be applied.

The new complex is called to ensure reliable supply of agricultural manufacturers and internal consumers of the country with high-quality phosphate fertilizer and create a possibility to strengthen food safety of our independent state and manufacture of phosphoric fertilizers imported from abroad.

The new industrial facility will annually produce 350 thousand tons of superphosphate and 100 thousand tons of sulphate of ammonium. After commissioning the complex, the potential of the chemical industry of the country will considerably increase.

With the commissioning of the modern chemical enterprise into operation, additional workplaces will be created there. The training of most of specialists, who will be employed there, is planned to conduct in higher educational institutions of foreign countries, for their work, all necessary conditions will be created.

The fruitful work is carried out to develop new manufactures of the national chemical industry.

In particular, in Turkmenbashi etrap of Balkan velayat it is planned to construct a complex for manufacture of urea, in Akhal - the second turn of the factory for manufacture of gasoline from gas and in the territory of Mary etrap of Mary velayat - a factory of mineral fertilizers, the President of Turkmenistan continued his speech and noted that realisation of similar large-scale projects in the country speak of the huge attention given to development of chemical industry.

As the head of the state underlined, along with other regions, a great significance is given to social and economic development of Lebap velayat where powerful industrial enterprises, social and cultural projects are consistently erected and put in operation.

At present, construction of the Mary-Turkmenabat section of the Ashgabat-Turkmenabat high-speed highway is at its final stage. In Turkmenabat city erection of a new complex of buildings of the Turkmen state teachers’ training institute named after Seyitnazar Seydi proceeds, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov said and pointed out that in the long term the program activity for complex development of regions of the country, creation of modern new manufactures will be successful carried out.

Once again, having warmly congratulated participants of the stone-laying ceremony of the complex for manufacture of mineral fertilizers at the Turkmenabat chemical plant named after S.A.Niyazov in Lebap velayat in the International year of peace and trust, the head of the state wished all sound health, family well-being and great successes in their work.

Then, on the screen, the video film of the complex for manufacture of superphosphate and ammonium sulphate was shown.

Further, the floor was given to head of Daewoo Engineering and Construction Co. Ltd company of the Republic of Korea  Jung Won-ju.

First of all, the businessman expressed sincere gratitude to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen people for the rendered trust in his company to realise the given significant project. As was marked, the present ceremony is not only a stone-laying ceremony of the factory, but also another important step on the path of maintenance of peaceful and sustainable development of Turkmenistan.

Construction of the complex of mineral fertilizers is an important national project, called to become a significant contribution to development of the gas chemistry industry and agriculture of Turkmenistan. Besides it, implementation of the given project will allow to create new workplaces and promote development of economy of the region.

At the end of his speech, the businessperson expressed warm gratitude to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen people for the rendered high trust and wished participants of the celebration and the entire Turkmen nation peace and prosperity.

Then, the head of the state at the request of representatives of the growing generation made a memorable record, which was placed into a special capsule, on the occasion of the stone-laying ceremony of the new industrial facility.

To a storm of applause of the gathered, the capsule with a memorable message was put into the foundation of the new complex.

The President of Turkmenistan threw the first shovels of concrete mix into the foundation of the future new industrial project and following the established noble tradition of our people, gave his blessing to this grandiose undertaking.

Participants of the celebration followed the example of the head of the state and put shovels of concrete mix into the foundation of the project.

Then, on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan, children were given gifts.

At the request of children, the head of the state had his photography taken with them for memory.

On completion of the celebration, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov warmly said goodbye to participants of the ceremony and left the place.

Thus, the present action displayed that the national chemical industry according to time realities successfully develops by means of innovations and strategic planning. The sector, which applies rich natural resources of the country as a basis for sustainable economic and technological development, brings a due contribution in consecutive strengthening positions of our fatherland as an industrially powerful state.
