On October 7, 2025, a telephone conversation took place between the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.

The head of state warmly congratulated the President of Russian Federation on his birthday and wished him good health, prosperity, and further success in his state work.

Expressing his sincere gratitude to President Vladimir Putin for his personal attention to the development of interstate dialogue, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that Russia is a strategic partner of Turkmenistan and that relations between our countries are based on the principles of equality, mutual respect, and good neighborliness.

Thanking for congratulations, V.Putin emphasized the great contribution of the President of Turkmenistan to strengthening bilateral cooperation, which is developing on the principles of friendship and mutual benefit.

Taking the opportunity, the President of the Russian Federation conveyed warm greetings and best wishes to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Hero-Arkadag.

It was noted during the conversation that today Turkmenistan and Russia are successfully cooperating on a wide range of fields. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that fruitful relations with the regions of the Russian Federation have been established within the framework of intergovernmental dialogue.

The President of Turkmenistan invited President Vladimir Putin to participate in the representative Forum of the International Year of Peace and Trust, dedicated to the 30^th anniversary of neutrality of Turkmenistan, to be held on December 12 of current year in Ashgabat.

Thanking for the invitation, the President of the Russian Federation emphasized the important role of the policy of Turkmenistan based on positive neutrality, in strengthening regional peace and prosperity.

At the end of the telephone conversation, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and President Vladimir Putin exchanged wishes for good health and further success in their work, as well as prosperity and well-being for the friendly peoples of two countries.
