On September 3, 2025, as part of his visit to the People's Republic of China, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, at the invitation of PRC Chairman Xi Jinping, took part in the ceremonial events held in Beijing to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Victory in World War II.

After a joint photo session of the Heads of delegations, a ceremonial military parade was held in Tiananmen Square in Beijing.

The ceremonial parade became a symbol of China's commitment to peace and the memory of national heroes.

During the visit to China, the Head of state took part in a large-scale international event – a high-level meeting in the SCO+ format. This visit by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov was an important event confirming the strengthening of Turkmenistan's multi-vector foreign policy and its desire to expand dialogue with the countries of the region.

The high-level talks held by the Head of Turkmenistan with the Chairman of the People's Republic of China were the main events of the visit. Paying special attention to the development of cooperation in strategic areas, the leaders of the two countries discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral relations.

In addition, during the visit, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with the First Deputy Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China. During the conversation, issues of expanding cooperation in the trade, economic, transport and logistics complexes, as well as in the cultural, humanitarian and high-tech spheres were discussed.

One of the main results of the visit was the signing of a number of important bilateral documents that cover various areas, creating a solid legal basis for further deepening the strategic partnership and implementing joint projects.

Having completed the program of the working visit to the People's Republic of China, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov arrived at Beijing International Airport, from where he departed for his homeland. Officials of the friendly country saw off the head of state. A few hours later, the plane of the President of the country landed at the Ashgabat International Airport, where the head of state was warmly greeted by the officials who cordially congratulated him on his successful visit to a friendly country.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov's visit to China demonstrated Turkmenistan's readiness for productive dialogue and active participation in developing solutions to global problems, in accordance with the principles of the legal status of neutrality of our country.
