Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting via the digital system with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atahalliyev and hyakims of the velayats to consider issues related to the state of affairs in the agro-industrial complex and regions of the country.

The first to speak was the hyakim of the Ahal velayat T. Nurmyradov, who reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural work in the region.

As noted, the grain harvesting continues in an organized manner in the velayat, the necessary measures are being taken to collect the grown wheat without losses and its uninterrupted transportation to receiving points. Payments are made to producers for the harvested crop in a timely manner. Plowing is being carried out on the fields freed up after the wheat harvest. 

Inter-row cultivation, mineral fertilization and irrigation are carried out in the areas sown with cotton.

Efforts are being made to harvest the grown potato and other vegetable crops and provide domestic markets with these products.

It was also reported on the progress of construction work at socio-cultural and industrial facilities that are planned to be commissioned this year in the region in accordance with the Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the socio-economic development of the country for 2022-2028 and the National Rural Program.

After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that the timely harvesting of the grown wheat crop, as well as compliance with agro-technical standards when caring for cotton, are important for achieving high results in agricultural production, and gave specific instructions to the hyakim in this regard.

In addition, the head of state ordered to monitor the work carried out in the velayat within the framework of the country’s socio-economic development programs. 

Then the floor was given to the hyakim of the Balkan velayat H.Ashyrmyradov.

The head of the regional administration reported the good news that the farmers of the velayat successfully fulfilled the plan, producing more than 80 thousand tons of wheat, and on behalf of the residents expressed gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen people Hero-Arkadag and the President of Turkmenistan for the conditions created for effective work.

Then the hyakim reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural campaigns in the region.

As noted, at present, work continues in the velayat to collect the grown wheat crop without losses. Necessary measures are being taken to ensure timely payments to grain producers for the harvested crop. The fields freed up after mowing are being prepared for the next sowing season.

Inter-row cultivation, irrigation and fertilization with minerals are carried out on the areas sown with cotton, while agricultural machinery is being effectively used.

At the same time, efforts are being made in the velayat to harvest potatoes and other vegetable and melon crops and provide domestic markets with these products.

It was informed on the progress of construction work at facilities planned to be commissioned this year in the region in accordance with the Program for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country for 2022-2028 and the National Rural Program.

After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated the farmers of the Balkan velayat on the successful fulfillment of contractual obligations and emphasized the importance of harvesting the remaining wheat crop to the last grain.

The head of state instructed the hyakim to ensure the proper implementation of current seasonal agricultural work, as well as high quality and timely execution of construction work at facilities planned to be commissioned this year in the velayat in accordance with the country’s socio-economic development programs.

Then, the hyakim of the Dashoguz velayat D. Babayev reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural campaigns in the region.

It was noted that the wheat harvest is ongoing. Plowing is being carried out on the areas freed up after mowing. Payments are being made to grain producers in a timely manner for the harvest delivered to the state.

Currently, inter-row cultivation, mineral fertilization and irrigation are being carried out in the velayat fields sown with cotton, while agricultural machinery is being effectively used.

Along with this, potatoes and other vegetable and melon crops are being harvested in the region.

In accordance with agro-technical standards, rice fields are being tended and mineral fertilization is being carried out.

It was also reported on the progress of construction of social, cultural and industrial facilities, which are planned to be commissioned this year in accordance with the Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the socio-economic development of the country for 2022-2028 and the National Program for the transformation of social and living conditions of the population of villages, towns, etrap cities and etrap centers for the period up to 2028.

After hearing the report, the President of Turkmenistan emphasized the importance of the current agricultural season, emphasizing the need for timely harvesting of grain without losses and proper care of cotton, giving the hyakim a number of specific instructions.

In addition, the head of state ordered to monitor the high-quality implementation of the work planned for this year in the velayat in accordance with the Program for the socio-economic development of the country for 2022-2028 and the National Rural Program.

Then the hyakim of the Lebap velayat M. Annanepesov reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural campaigns in the region. 

As noted, grain harvesting continues in the velayat. Appropriate measures are being taken to collect the harvested crop without losses. Plowing is being carried out on the areas freed up after harvesting. Payments to wheat producers for the harvested crop are made in a timely manner.

Inter-row cultivation, mineral fertilization and irrigation are carried out in the cotton fields of the region in accordance with agro-technical standards.

Harvesting of the grown crop is underway along with the care of potatoes and other vegetable and melon crops.

Rice sowing continues in the velayat, and agro-technical measures are being carried out on the sown areas.

It was also reported on the progress of construction work on socio-cultural and industrial facilities planned for commissioning in the region this year in accordance with the Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the socio-economic development of the country for 2022-2028 and the National Rural Program.

Summarizing the report, the head of state emphasized the importance of current agro-technical measures in agriculture and gave the hyakim a number of instructions to accelerate the pace of grain harvesting in the region, carry out work on cotton care taking into account agro-technical standards, and use agricultural machinery at full capacity.

The President of Turkmenistan also ordered to monitor the high-quality and timely completion of construction of facilities planned for commissioning this year in the territory of the velayat.

Then the hyakim of the Mary velayat B. Orazov reported on the progress of the current seasonal agricultural campaigns in the region.

As noted, the necessary measures are being taken to harvest wheat, use agricultural machinery and grain receiving enterprises at full capacity, as well as to promptly pay producers for the delivered grain. Plowing has begun on the areas freed up after the harvest. 

In the cotton fields of the velayat, inter-row cultivation, mineral fertilization and irrigation are carried out in accordance with the requirements of agricultural technology.

At the same time, the region is harvesting potatoes and other vegetable and melon crops and delivering these products to the population.

In addition, sugar beet sowing continues. Irrigation is carried out on the sown areas.

It was informed on the progress of construction of socio-cultural and industrial facilities that are planned to be commissioned in the region this year in accordance with the Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the socio-economic development of the country for 2022-2028 and the National Rural Program.

After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the importance of harvesting wheat without losses, accelerating the pace of grain harvesting, observing agro-technical deadlines and requirements for caring for cotton fields, giving the hyakim a number of specific instructions.

The head of state also ordered to monitor the timely and high-quality execution of construction work at cultural, social and industrial facilities planned for commissioning in the region this year in accordance with the country’s socio-economic development programs.

Then Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atahalliyev reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural campaigns in the country.

As noted, the harvest of wheat grown in the country’s fields continues. During the grain harvest, special attention is paid to the efficient operation of agricultural machinery. The harvested crop is delivered to receiving points without interruption. The necessary measures are being taken to ensure timely payments to producers for the wheat harvest delivered to the state. Appropriate work is being carried out to prepare the areas vacated after mowing for the next sowing season.

In the velayats, cotton is cared for in accordance with agro-technical standards. 

Along with this, work continues on the maintenance of rice fields in the Dashoguz velayat, rice sowing in the Lebap velayat and sugar beet sowing in the Mary velayat.

Guided by the tasks set to further strengthen food abundance in the country, work is underway in the regions to harvest and deliver the grown crop of potatoes and other vegetable and melon crops to the population.

Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the need for comprehensive measures to consistently develop the agricultural sector and achieve high production indicators, in this regard instructing the Deputy Prime Minister to monitor the current agricultural campaigns, in particular, the organized conduct of the grain harvest in accordance with agro-technical requirements.

Then, addressing the participants of the working meeting, the head of state noted that the grain harvest is proceeding at a high pace, and instructed to take measures to harvest the wheat crop on time and without losses.

The President of Turkmenistan also once again emphasized the important tasks facing the agricultural sector today and ordered to ensure high-quality performance of work at all stages of agricultural production – from caring for crops to harvesting the grown crop.

Concluding the working meeting via the digital system, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished its participants good health, family well-being and great success in their work.
