Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Croatia accredited in Turkmenistan

On April 23, 2025, on the instructions of President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the Chairperson of the Mejlis D.Gulmanova received credentials from the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Croatia to Turkmenistan Hrvoje Cvetanovic.

The head of the national parliament, on behalf of the head of state, congratulated the diplomat on his appointment to the responsible post and wished him success in his work to strengthen cooperation between the two countries.

In turn, thanking for the warm words, the Ambassador conveyed sincere greetings from the leadership of the Republic of Croatia to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, as well as assurances of friendship and wishes of well-being and prosperity to the Turkmen people.

During the conversation, the plenipotentiary representative of the friendly country was informed in detail about the main directions of the domestic and foreign policy of independent, permanently neutral Turkmenistan, successfully carried out under the leadership of the head of state, as well as the structure of the national parliament and legislative activities.

Particular emphasis was placed on socio-economic programs aimed at building potential and diversifying the national economy on an innovative basis, creating modern infrastructure, improving well-being and steadily increasing the standard of living of the population.

During the meeting, a mutual exchange of views took place on bilateral and multilateral relations, which are successfully developing within the framework of international organizations, primarily the United Nations.

At the end of the meeting, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Croatia to Turkmenistan Hrvoje Cvetanovic assured that he would make every effort to further strengthen interstate cooperation based on the principles of equality and mutual trust.
