For the personal contribution to training the athletes, winners and medalists of the V Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games as well as for the strong performances, achieved in the training and educational work, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the Decree on conferring the title “Honoured Coach of Turkmenistan” to:

On October 2, 2017, by invitation of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov, an official visit to Turkmenistan of the President of the Russian Federation will start.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov spoke at the award ceremony of the sportsmen and coaches of national teams on September 28.

For large merits and personal input to the development and improvement of international authority of Turkmen sports, its popularization, training of sportsmen who successfully performed at V Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games, contribution to provision of high sport achievements by prize winner of the Games, for coaching and educational activity in sports, the Mejlis of Turkmenistan resolved to confer Serdar Gurbanguliyevich Berdimuhamedov with honoured title «Türkmenistanyň at gazanan tälimçisi» (Honoured Coach of Turkmenistan).

President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov received UN Under-Secretary-General for Political Affairs Miroslav Yencha, and Special Envoy and Head of the UN Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia (UNRCCA) Natalia Herman who arrived in the Turkmen capital and took part in the 5th Asian Games closing ceremony.

Official ceremony of the closing of V Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games took place in Turkmen capital with participation of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received President of the Oceania National Olympic committees (ONOC) Robin Mitchell.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received the President of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad Al-Sabah, who was in the Turkmen capital.

Leader of refugee team at V Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games Tegla Lorupe addressed the letter to President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov where she expressed the gratitude for the initiative and efforts for participation of the team in Ashgabat 2017 Games.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held the session of the Cabinet of Ministers where the draft of the State budget of Turkmenistan for the next year was reviewed.
