At the session of the Government on October 26, Vice-premier, Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov reported on the outcomes of working visit of Turkmenistan delegation to Japan.

Turkmen delegation chaired by Vice-premier G. Myradov will take part in the session of the Council of the Heads of the Governments of the CIS members in Astana on November 2. The agenda will include wide spectrum of subjects of cooperation on the Commonwealth space including in economic and social spheres, energy and other. This information was presented at the session of the Government on October 26.

Regular session of authorised representatives of Caspian states organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Industry and the State Department on Caspian Affairs under the President of Turkmenistan has finished its work in Turkmen capital. Leading experts of profile structures in this sphere from Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Russian and Turkmenistan took part in the meeting.

Turkmen capital hosted regular political consultations between Turkmenistan and USA. Delegation chaired by Deputy Assistant Secretary of United States of America for Central Asia affairs Emilia Puma.

The President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov inspected the projects of new buildings planned to be constructed in the capital as well as the situation at number of big facilities and fulfilment of the programmes for urban planning of the city and complex modernization of its infrastructure.

Development of interstate cooperation in its main directions has been discussed at the talks held at the request by the Head of the State by Turkmenistan Government delegation led by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov in Tokyo.

In accordance with the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan, Halbaev Dovran Dovletovich is appointed as the Chairman of the Financial Control Service under the Ministry of Finance and Economy.

Few days ago, the delegation of our country paid visit to Brussels where it had number of meetings including with Deputy Chairman of European Energy Union Commission Maroš Šefčovič as well as working meeting with representatives of the General Energy Department of the European Commission and other. Vice-premier M. Meredov reported on the outcomes of the visit to the Head of the State at the video conference session on October 22.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held working video conference session with the participation of the Speaker of the Mejlis, number of Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers and Hyakim of Ashgabat. Priority objectives of social and economic development of the country and other important matters of the state life have been reviewed.

Regular third session of the Mejlis of the sixth convocation was held, during which number of laws and regulatory and legal acts developed in accordance with priorities of the state policy, new edition of the Constitution and integrated programme of modernization of legal framework of the country have been adopted. Representatives of relevant ministries and departments as well as mass media have been invited to participate in the session.
