President Borut Pahor addressed congratulations to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Slovenia and Turkmenistan.

President, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan, Army General Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held regular session of the State Security Council where outcomes of work of military and law enforcement agencies for 11 months of the year have been outlined and future objectives have been discussed.

The President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution, having approved the Concept of Development of Digital economy in Turkmenistan in 2019 – 2025.

The President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution allowing the hyakims of Balkan, Dashoguz and Lebap velayats signing the contracts with local entrepreneurs for project design and construction of «Türkmeniň ak öýi» buildings for 3,000 seats in Balkanabat, Dashoguz and Turkmenabat with the provision of modern equipment, planning of adjoining territory as well as buildings for public ceremonies for 3,000 people, construction of relative infrastructure including roads, external engineering and communication systems, electrical, gas, water and sewage lines.

The fourth session of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan of the sixth convocation, during which number of new laws and legal acts has been adopted, was held. Members of the Government, heads of relative ministries and departments, representatives of press have been invited to participate in the session.

Draft Resolutions of the Parliament on Ratification of the Convention on Legal Status of Caspian Sea, on Ratification of the Agreement between the Governments of Caspian States on Trade and Economic Cooperation, on Ratification of the Agreement between the Governments of Caspian States on Transport Cooperation, on Ratification of the Agreement on Prevention of Incidents in Caspian Sea, on Accession to the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide, on Accession to the Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Safety of United Nations and Associated Personnel have been reviewed at the fourth session of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan of the sixth convocation.

The Draft Law of Turkmenistan on Prevention of Harmful Impact of Alcohol has been brought out for discussion at the fourth session of the Mejlis of the sixth convocation. The participants highlighted that care of health and wealth of the people and every citizen of the country is an unconditional priority of the Government policy. propaganda of healthy life style and sports, awareness of the population on harmful effect of bad habits are important aspects of the work in this direction.

Cairo has hosted the second Turkmenistan-Egypt Intergovernmental Commission for Economic and Scientific-Technical Cooperation.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held regular session of the Cabinet of Ministers where the digitization of national economy, development of educational system and progress of agricultural reforms have been reviewed.

Session of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan of the sixth convocation, which agenda will include the discussion of the Draft Law on the State Budget of Turkmenistan for 2019 as well as number of the bills aimed at the improvement of existing legislation in certain spheres and at dynamic promotion of social and economic reforms in the country in general, will be held on December 1.
