For further continuation of marketing relations in national economy, further improvement of price formation and social protection of consumers, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution according to which prices (tariffs) on important goods, production, works and services of production and technical purpose and social importance are subject to be regulated by the state.

At the session of the Government on February 22, Vice-premier, Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov informed the President about the work for development of the relations with the states of Asian Pacific region.

Under official visit to Turkmenistan, President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Mohammad Ashraf Ghani visited the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the afternoon where he made a speech for professors, lecturers and students of the IIR and International University of Humanitarian Studies and Development.

Bilateral documents signing ceremony took places upon the completion of extended format Turkmen – Afghan talks. Regulatory and legal framework of Turkmen – Afghan cooperation is supplemented with ten documents, which are to support the steadfast development of interstate dialog.

During the top-level talks between President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, it was underlined the importance to find new opportunities to significantly increase the volumes and diversify the mutual trade turnover.

Turkmen-Afghan top-level talks took place in Ashgabat. Starting with the meeting between President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, the talks continued in an extended format, with the participation of the official delegations of the two countries.

The top-level talks between the President of Turkmenistan and the President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan took place at the Ruhyet Palace in Ashgabat.
