Turkmenistan observes the Memorial Day when tribute is paid to heroes lost in the battlefields of all wars as well as to the victims of catastrophic Ashgabat earthquake in 1948.

Regula sevenths session of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan of the sixth convocation, during which number of laws and regulatory legal acts has been adopted, took place. Representatives of relative ministries and departments as well as mass media were invited to participate in the session.

For successful implementation of national programme of reforms, enforcement of control of the measures in this direction as well as further enhancement of responsibility of the Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers and heads of administrations for social and economic development of the regions and Ashgabat, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution, having appointed the curators of the regions as follows:

First session of the Constitution Commission for development and compilation of proposals on amendments and addendums of the Constitution of Turkmenistan was held after the session of the Cabinet of Ministers.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held extended session of the Cabinet of Ministers where outcomes of work of the branches of national economy for nine months of the year have been summed up, personnel issues have been reviewed and priority objectives for the time remained until new year have been outlined.

Turkmen delegation took part in the work of the 74th session of United Nations General Assembly. Vice-premier, Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov informed the Head of the State on the outcomes of working visit to New York at the extended session of the Government on October 4.

President, Chairman of the Constitutional Commission of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the Resolution, according to which:

In accordance with the Decree of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Ovezov Bayramgeldy Orazgeldyevich is appointed as the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan for the industrial and communication complex.

In accordance with the Decree of President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan, Colonel Chakyev Mammethan Berdimyradovich is promoted to the special rank of Major General of the Police.

In accordance with the Decree of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Berdiyev Ahmed Amangeldievich was appointed as the Director General of the “Türkmen atlary” State Association.
