For further development of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Azerbaijan, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the Resolution, having approved the composition of Intergovernmental Turkmen – Azeri Commission for economic cooperation from Turkmen side.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the Decree on awarding honorary titles to workers of culture and arts in honour of the 28th anniversary of Independence of Turkmenistan for their special contribution to the development of the national theatrical art and cinematography, music, journalism, for the great services to the state and people:

“I congratulate you on the victory in the competition “Türkmeniň Altyn asyry” and conferral of the honorary titles”, says the President of Turkmenistan, addressing the workers of culture and arts, as well as the winners of the competition.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held regular session of the Cabinet of Ministers where priority issues of the state life as well as draft documents have been reviewed.

Preparation to the XXII conference of the Humanitarian Association of Turkmens of the World, which is to be held in Ashgabat on September 23 on the threshold of the celebration of the 28th anniversary of Turkmenistan independence, is carried out.

In accordance with the Decree of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the People’s Republic of China Durdiyev Parahat Hommadovich is also appointed as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

President, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan, Army General Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held offsite session of the State Security Council where the outcomes of work of military and law enforcement agencies have been outlined for eight months of the year as well as inspected combat drills of Türkmen Edermen Special Forces groups of the security structures of the country.
