President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has left on working trip for Lebap Velayat. At the session of the Government on June 5, the Head of the State informed on working trip to the regions of the country this month for inspection of the grain harvest campaign on sites and fulfilment of social programmes.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held video conference working session of the Cabinet of Ministers where outcomes of work of branches of national economy have been summed up for five months of the year as well as other priority objectives of the state life have been reviewed.

Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Rashid Meredov held online negotiations with Chairman of the Committee for External Relations of St. Petersburg Evgeny Grigoriev. Minister of Industry and Construction, Serdar Berdimuhamedov attended the meeting.

The 4th round of the consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the French Republic took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan in the videoconference format.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan held a briefing on the implementation of Turkmenistan Preparedness and Response Plan on Acute Infectious Disease (COVID-19). In accordance with the Decree of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Dayanch Gulgeldiev was released from his position as the Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs of Turkmenistan for serious shortcomings in his work.

In order to protect crops from diseases and pests, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Decree, authorizing the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection to conclude contracts with foreign companies for the purchase of pest control agents.

President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the country, Army General Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held regular session of the State Security Council. Outcomes of activity of military and law enforcement agencies for five months of the year have been discussed at the session.

The Minister of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan held online meeting with the Co-Chair of the Turkmen-Tatarstan working group on economic, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation – Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation Albert Karimov.
