The issues on sharing experience in the field of intellectual property and copyright protection, as well as the development of training programmes and materials with the focus on the use of information and communication technologies were discussed during the video conference meeting held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Foreign Ministry held video conference session with regional management of the projects of European Union – Central Asia: Cooperation in water resources, environment and climate change (WECOOP).

The status of and prospects for the development of mutually beneficial cooperation between Turkmenistan and Ukraine, and further steps to deepen cooperation in a number of areas were discussed the consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and Ukraine held in the format of a videoconference meeting.

A regular meeting of the Government Commission on the study of issues on Turkmenistan’s accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO) was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In order to develop the national horse breeding industry, as well as to improve the work of the ""Türkmen atlary"" State Association, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Decree, approving the Regulation on the Association, as well as the structure of its central office.

On occasion of the Turkmen Horse Day, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution, instructing the relevant officials to arrange the International Ahalteke Horse Beauty Contest as well as contests among painters, sculptors, carpet-makers, jewelers, photographers, workers of publishing houses, designers, teleoperators for the artistic embodiment of the beauty of horses in works of fine and decorative arts, printed materials, photographs and television channels in Ashgabat on April 25, 2020.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed number of Resolutions aimed at activation of work of relative ministries and departments of the country for fulfilment of important objectives in natural protection sphere and expansion of cooperation with competent international organizations in this direction.

In accordance with the Decree of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the Permanent Representative of Turkmenistan to the United Nations Office at Geneva (Swiss Confederation, Geneva), Haljanov Atageldy Baijanovich is appointed as the Permanent Representative of Turkmenistan to the United Nations Office in Nairobi (UNON) (the Republic of Kenya), the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-HABITAT) (Geneva).

At the request of President of the Azerbaijan Republic, Ilham Aliyev, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov participated in the Summit of the Turkic Council held in a format of videoconference.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held regular video conference session of the Cabinet of Ministers where current issues of the state life has been reviewed.
