Today, a regular meeting of the Central Commission for holding elections and referenda in Turkmenistan was held in the capital, which was attended by the head and members of the Central Election Commission, as well as representatives of the media.

This morning, the meeting room of the hyakimlik of Dashoguz velayat has hosted a meeting of voters with the candidate for the highest state post from the Agrarian Party of Turkmenistan, the deputy hyakim of Mary velayat, Agadzhan Bekmyradov.

Today, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held an online working meeting with the participation of some Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, khyakims of velayats and Ashgabat city, to consider topical issues of socio-economic development of the capital and the regions, the course of seasonal agricultural work, as well as important tasks related to the implementation of national programs and reforms.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, on behalf of the people and the Government of Turkmenistan, as well as on his own behalf, sent hearty congratulations and best wishes to the Servant of the Two Holy Mosques, King of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and all the people of the country on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Preparations for the most important social and political campaign, the presidential elections in Turkmenistan scheduled for March 12, are expanding. Currently, the nomination and registration of the most deserving candidates for the highest state post continues.

Today, with participation of heads and members of the Central Commission for Elections and Referendums, representatives of mass media a regular meeting of the Central Commission for Holding Elections and Referendums in Turkmenistan has taken place and its subject became registration of nominated initiative groups of citizens for the presidency of Turkmenistan.

Today, as part of preparations for the upcoming March 12 important socio-political campaign - the upcoming presidential elections in Turkmenistan - meetings of initiative groups of citizens were held in the Balkan and Lebap velayats, during which the most worthy contenders for the highest state post were nominated.

Today, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working trip around the capital, having been acquainted with the progress of work on the further development of urban infrastructure, as well as the start of construction of the next stage of the Ashgabat-Turkmenabat high-speed autobahn.
