Promising areas of actively developing multifaceted cooperation were discussed at the meeting of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on May 19 this year with a member of the ruling family of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Emir Muhammed bin Saad bin Khalid Al Saud.

Following the talks between President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and President of PRC Xi Jinping, held in the Chinese city of Xi'an on the first day of the working visit of the head of Turkmenistan to China, a package of bilateral documents was signed.

The United Nations General Assembly, led by Turkmenistan's initiative, has proclaimed November 26 as World Sustainable Transport Day.

As is known, the leaders of China and Central Asia will take part in the Central Asia-China Summit on the 18th to 19th of May, which will be held in Xi'an, Shaanxi province. The summit will bring together the leaders of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan and will be the first major diplomatic event hosted by China this year.
